It has come to our attention that the hold on pay has begun to affect morale. While no one has full control over the vicissitudes of this industry, we can assure you that it will all work out for the best; just hang in there. It would be unfair to suggest that our work is 'its own reward', but perhaps it could be considered at least a bonus. Or hazard pay. Management appreciates your patience and flexibility in these challenging times, and humbly asks you to "Keep Smiling"!
On another note, the unauthorized removal of equipment from BPL facilities is a crime and offenders will be prosecuted.
